Sahil Dhiman

Sahil Dhiman is a person who, I think after Kumbhakaran has made a record in sleeping. He is one guy who I know can sleep throughout his life, if he were exempted from the attendances and the examinations in college. He is too good at it. And another thing which I find mhim good at is Guitar. His notes have heavenly feelings. I remember one day when I stayed in his room for a night, he sat in the gloomy light of his overburnt tubelight, strumming the tunes from the movie "Koi mil..". he strummed "Aum... Aum..Aum...." .And there went off the lights, flickering for sometime and then lighting the room with full vigour. Well... there are plenty of things that will make this guy like you. He is smart, lilts out jokes effortlessly and one who is not shy to make fun of himself. He is a pleasant companion to be with but the saddest thing is that he absents himself so often from college that I don't get much chance to be with him. Hope for the last year of our college he would be with me. He is a great friend from first semester and this friendship would last till our life; and I am confident of that

Arpita Bhattacharjee

Arpita, the name itself will tell you she is spiritual. A staunch believer in God and stuffs like that. She was the first girl to whom I spoke when I came to college. She is vivacious and a very high-spirited girl,talkative,vulnerable emotionally, my sweet sis. One occassion when I don't like her is when tears well-up her eyes. She's almost inconsolable. Hpe she'll work that out someday

Vijay Balasubhramaniam

Vijay is a guy who you can trust in time of a crisis. Three years out of school and he is still the same buddy I used to have, where others have parted ways and are absorbed in their own lives VJ has proved to be an extraordinary friend.

Debashis Sinha

I first met this guy in my first semester of college itself. We were in different sections as our branches are different. Inspite of all these hurdles it did not take me long to get acquainted with this lovely person. You can always spot him with a friendly smile on his face, never does he disappoints you. He has a great sense of humour( that I definitely lack). He is great friend to be with very amiable, friendly and inspiring. I am glad that in my life I have atleast made one friend on whom I can rely blind-folded, that's the level of trust between us. Three years have passed since we met, the time that is not enough for anyone to come so close, but our relation is such that there is always the warmth of our first meeting. Satwik Tiwari

Finally I am a getting a chance todescribe my friend Satwik.. well I usually start with the interpretation of name while I write a Testi. So Satwik is a rare Hindi word not encounered very often so is the case with Satwik its a rarity to find him in class.I remember when I 1st saw him it was in the 2nd sem. He just barged in the class muttering in typical Kanpuri accent. His voice itself was enough to tell me that how soft at heart this guy is. one of the best qualities that I find in him is that he is at ease with everything in this world,does not get into uncalled trouble. Just his presence in the class is enough to ensure a laugh riot in the class. A lovely friend with open heart thats what I call him.. Hugs my friend.. One bad thing or shoul I say two, make me feel sorry for him hope he comes out 4m his temptations which he had eventually transferred into me. Prince of my Hard Times: My Dear Brother

Mayank is a very different kind of person, a maverick you may say. He refuses to be bound by the bogus rules of society. Believes in creating his own religion based upon rational ideology and views. He lets his thoughts just run out of his mouth without any slight difficulty.Girls- he literally runs away from them but is always desperately in search of one who would interest him. A loving person in all.
He is crazy at times but also highly intelligent, he can speak on varied topics without any hesitation, from crap to black-holes to everything. His extra-ordinary capablity to mingle in any strata of society, I think, can be attributed solely to this quality.As younger brother,as I've known him for so many years, he has proved amazingly an amicable and amiable companion. He is my best friend and is the only one who knows all my secrets.I can not forget the talks or the palavers which we have during the night at bedtime.The topics range widely across girls, animals,evolution,God,Universe and a lot more.He is powerful than me but when I am in my best of my bad-temper he choses to stay away out of sheer respect.He possibly reveals all his grievances and achievements to me i.e why noone knows him too well,except me

Arjun Vishwanathan

Arjun is a guy with difference, he knows what to do and where. He, you can say is like the Arjun of mahabharat focussed yet human. An enthusiastic quizzard. Never blames other for mistakes takes the defeat as it comes. I remember one occassion when he took part in a quiz comptt and his team lost in the finals with a narrow margin due to callous mistake of one of his teammates. Everyone in class sympathised with him and blamed the guy,N_____,for defeat but Arjun remained calm and gentle at that movt and declared it was team's mistake and not of that single person. Such a modest person is Arjun. Even I had the pleasure of accompanying him to a quiz comptt. After five yrs of separation he took the initiative and located me on orkut. It's a wonderful experience to be his friend. Love you dear.
